Five Year Old Sets House On Fire: Waterloo - KZN
A five (5) year old boy set a house alight while playing with matches in Waterloo - KZN today (Tuesday). READ MORE HERE
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Lily Road at approximately 13:28 after residents reported a wood & iron structure engulfed in flames. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene with the Ethekwini Fire & Rescue Services.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze, but the structure was completely destroyed. It was established that the minor child was playing with matches and accidentally set the house on fire.
No injuries were reported.
